The Snails Pace Running Club of Brea has weekly runs on Saturday mornings at 7:00 on the Fullerton Horse Trails. They welcome all runners at all levels (they are a friendly group with lots of female runners) .... they break up in small groups and run different distances at different paces. They meet at the Fullerton Courthouse on Berkeley Ave. just west of Harbor Blvd. I was out of town and missed the Saddleback Half, but I do like running half marathons. This year the local half marathons I'll have run are Pacific Shoreline, Orange County, Southern California (in Irvine), Carlsbad, Long Beach, Palos Verdes, and Heartbreak Ridge (in Oceanside). Saddleback is on my list of half marathons to do..... how was it? well organized? good support? accurate mile markers? hills? crowds? ------------------ Jim IP: Logged
