I'm not really a runner (more of a tri wannabe), but I'm in Thousand Oaks. Going to bed early is key!! Once you're in the habit of it, you'll look forward to your morning run

Hey Jenotter - I'm in OC too! Mission Viejo...Don't run in Whitting Ranch!.....tempting though it may be. O'Neill Park is calling to me, but I don't want to become cougar food. Where do you run?

Another attempt at a CA thread? I'm in Seal Beach (coastal OC - between Huntington & Long Beach). Open invitation - I'm happy to run with anyone who shows up on my driveway at 5:45 AM and wants to run for an hour or so at a ~ 7:45/mile pace... ------------------ My User Profile

Anybody in Anaheim/Anahiem Hills? I'm new to the area and don't want to run alone. Looking for a female running partner for 4+ mile runs on one morning each weekend. Hi to the people in the San Joaquin Valley! I'm from Visalia!! Glad to be out of the heat!! I ran the Saddleback Half Marathon recently, anybody else?

The Snails Pace Running Club of Brea has weekly runs on Saturday mornings at 7:00 on the Fullerton Horse Trails. They welcome all runners at all levels (they are a friendly group with lots of female runners) .... they break up in small groups and run different distances at different paces. They meet at the Fullerton Courthouse on Berkeley Ave. just west of Harbor Blvd. I was out of town and missed the Saddleback Half, but I do like running half marathons. This year the local half marathons I'll have run are Pacific Shoreline, Orange County, Southern California (in Irvine), Carlsbad, Long Beach, Palos Verdes, and Heartbreak Ridge (in Oceanside). Saddleback is on my list of half marathons to do..... how was it? well organized? good support? accurate mile markers? hills? crowds?
