I am noticing a trend in Paul's posts lately....guaranteed to induce gales of mirth and helpless laughter!

Could this be a plot???

This dud(e) lives within a few minutes of my workplace, I can pretty much guarantee. The law quad is right behind my building. And I'll be hanging with a few law students this upcoming weekend, if not this very night.

Would you like me to send Todd a message from the Kicksports Congress? More specifically, if there are any women dying to get on his "Monetary Goals" list, let me know. I can probably set you up.

Maybe we can get him to sign on and try to explain to Brutal what it means to be a true gentleman and a warrior knight. While they debate whom is more of a phallicly gifted stallion we can skip over to *?* and contemplate the REAL meaning of life over some gonads and strife....

Paul in Colorado, I see you're a law prof. Hey, I know some absolutely wonderful, wonderful law students here who are finishing up soon.

One is doing a dual four-year degree in Near-Asian studies, and has spent the last 2 or 3 summers in India researching child labor practices in export industries (e.g., textile industries, etc). We had a fun talk on Sunday about the role of social science research in judicial decision-making.

Another is getting a PhD in international studies and the law. Researches and writes about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. She's a so bright you gotta wear shades kind of person. I think she'll probably go back to Israel when she's done, tho.

Then there's R, who recently took a faculty position at a Texas university, did a dual degree in public health and the law -- focus on genetic science, health, and law. Again, another incredibly cool and brilliant (and charming and crazy - nrgy would love 'er) person who deserves to be in charge of something very, very important soon.

I am not worthy... I guess I should just set my sights on marrying Todd. If he'll have me. (sigh)

Callipy, I think that after a week of conversation with "Todd" you might go running back to the one that you stuck it out with for a month just for "ya know"

A woman I know had the following comment regarding Todd (who is an actual person, although I don't know if he's ever met John Lee Hooker or chatted with Alto Bolton): "I bet he screams out his own name during sex."

BTW, the financial goals section under his "values and goals" link is not to be missed.

Callipgy, I used to live in the Law Quad (went to UM both undergrad and law school), so I was regularly intimidated by all those brilliant people, too, but dealt with it in the classic academic fashion, i.e., by pretending to be much smarter than I actually was (this strategy is still working).

I get up to AA several times a year. Maybe we could go for a run along the river some time.

{smile: they sound *very* similar. really. this 'you know' guy once told me, because i asked him, what he was all about and within about 15 seconds i was shouting at him to hush his mouth. i couldn't take it anymore. it is true, we agreed (i suggested) that we'd strictly limit our conversation to a few safe topics. like pizza toppings. ah, the bad old days... it was a mere dalliance, a blip, in an otherwise very wonderful -and concise- list of boyfriends. i swear.}

ps: Paul in C -- these folks I speak of are really, really groovy. They put up with me and all my ignoramous questions about what they do. It's so nice to have that combo of smart and 'real' - not pretentious [had the misfortune of spending time with a few of those 'types' last year. thought my head was going to explode]. I'm not surprised you went to Mich Law... I like alot of the folks in the law school here, students and profs. Especially the dual-degree people who really seem to enjoy what they're doing. It's a neat place.

Hee hee hee. I agree about UWO, jcumming...

Anyway, as a single female, I'd kind of like to meet this guy....only to b!tch-slap the yahoo.

You have to admit, his website is good for a chuckle...

(Can't wait to use "Assclown" in a sentence...)

Tod, Tod, Tod, (head shaking in sad disbelief) I don't think this is the reaction you had anticipated.

Smart as whippet and no taste to boot.

Oh oh...most of these posts are from Canadians. I got this really twitchy feeling in my gut that Todd might at one time been one of ours. Did we gift him to the good people of America? Maybe he just has the home in Windsor to keep his ego. There is that University of Western Ontario thing though....He seems like a real Mustang though.

Callipy, go check him out and find if he's a Canadian. If so, I think we should definitely share him fairly...how bout halfway across the Detroit River...at the bottom!!!!

OK Paul, come clean...how did you find his website???

I think someone should call him and report back to us - he has posted his phone numbers. He is probably "hoping" someone will call him.
I would but I'm happily married....

I was showing Rick (my hubby) Todd's website and he wanted to know if it was a dating service thing!!!

Nope CanuckGal, once someone registers for their first undergrad course at UWO they give up all rights as a Canadian citizen. It truly is a beautiful campus, but it's not Canada...way too high falutin' for us.

I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, ...better forget a wife and kids, Todd. Buy a Pamela blow-up doll for Friday nights and buy a van for the local Boy Scouts out of your "millions." Anybody with a real life and feelings will throw you back to the sharkpool for someone with a bigger ego to eat you for lunch.

He probably didn't want to add "B.S." to his list--which is sad, since it's the one acronym that best describes this guy.

Jeez, I couldn't even get past the intro without cracking up. Did he say he likes pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? He should move to the U.S. and join the Young Republicans Club. Bret: Maybe you can find a place for him in your department? I'll bet some communications professor at BYU is using his site as an example!

I we Todd did.
