I'm praying in general for everyone, and specifically for those who either themselves whose family or friends are directly involved in the aftermath of this sick mess.

All military bases/installations are on ThreatCon Charlie - high(est?) level of security. I'm sure I wont be getting any more emails from my son for awhile. And our Kick military friends are going to be quite busy and probably incommunicado.Ditto what Thoner said. I don't know what else to say. I'm stunned, shocked, I don't think there is an adjective to describe how I feel. Thanks for all the info.

I just heard that the State Dept has been evacuated.Hope your brother is fine. Gotta log off now, the kids school has been canceled. My prayers for all!!

At least one of the Twin Towers has collasped... Gone. I cannot believe it...
The second is anticipated to collapse as well.A number I heard was 14000. 14000, dead. Approximately 50000 work in the Twin Towers area. People were reported to be jumping out (from which floor I don't know and I don't want to know). Think of the people stuck above the crash area. Horrific. Everyone is checking to see if everyone is OK. My building is only allowing one point of entrance. People are huddled outside the Fox news building, watching the newsfee, stunned. I'm way uptown, and I frequently hear sirens. This can't be happening...

I watched the second tower go down on TV. The top floors were on fire wit flames visible through the windows of an entire floor about 20 - 30 floors from the top. then suddenly, the walls around there started to buckle outwards, and the floors above just started coming down and pushing all the floors below straight down below them. The building just disappeared in a couple of seconds.Russell

A report from greensburg pa 911 center confirms that a passenger called on a cell phone and reported that the plane was hijacked than the call went dead. I have heard reports that over 400 passengers were on the plane but not one ambulance has left the scene....no survivors the debis is in small pieced with nothing but a large crater in the ground.

My father called me from his office in Jersey City, NJ. The building was closed and everybody inside was evacuated. But he spoke to me long enough to tell me he was going home (about 35 miles) with a co-worker who lives nearby. However, authorities have shut down the Turnpike and the Parkway. His only way home is Route 1, and apparently police are inspecting all cars and trucks for bombs.Me? My company has shut down the building, but we're not in immediate danger. So I'm staying put for now. The roads are probably a bigger disaster now. My boss in VA works near the Pentagon. His building was evacuated, and I can't get his cell phone.

Sue-I'm glad you're ok-have been thinking about you all morning.We have a plane in Cleveland, an original Boston flight I believe, that the bomb squad is out to investigate. The plane has been sitting in a secured area for over two hours without letting passengers off yet. This is truly unbelievable. I'm sad, shocked-I cannot believe this is happening. I'm hearing that the Pentagon attack could have been worst. President Bush is to address nation soon from Louisiana. He's coming back from Florida.Watching that second plane fly into the second building of WTC is so surreal. Then watching the towers fall just makes me sick. Like most have said we need to pray as this is beyond us. If you are bible believing, this is a sign of end times. Kathy
