USA Triathlon Partners with MedEvent, Inc. as Official Sports Medicine Provider for 2008 USAT Age Group Nationals

USA Triathlon is proud to announce a partnership with MedEvent, Inc. to coordinate the medical coverage for the USAT 2008 Age Group National Championship to be held in Portland, Ore. on September 20, 2008.
MedEvent, Inc. (www.medeventinc.net) based in Racine, Wis., provides comprehensive Health and Safety programming for sporting events and specializes in multisport events such as triathlons and marathons. MedEvent, Inc. brings over 40 years of staff experience in the fields of sports medicine, emergency medicine, and multisport event coverage. MedEvent, Inc. staff includes certified athletic trainers, physical therapists, nurses, EMS personnel, physicians, chiropractors, and massage therapists. MedEvent, Inc. and its Mobile Medical Team bring Sports Medicine to the athletes by using their extensive knowledge base to plan and prepare for all injury contingencies.

The partnership will begin immediately with MedEvent, Inc. developing a comprehensive Health and Safety plan for USA Triathlon’s 2008 Age Group National Championship in Portland, Ore. on September 20, 2008.
