ZOOMA Women’s Race Series Opens ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon & 10K
Women’s Fitness Event Hosted by The Broadmoor, a 5-Star Resort in Colorado Springs

February 11, 2010, Colorado Springs, CO: ZOOMA Women’s Race Series has opened registration for the new ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon & 10K presented by New Balance. ZOOMA Colorado will run from The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs on July 17, 2010 and will include a half-marathon, 10K, two-person half marathon relay and kid’s fun run. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program, the world’s first and largest charity sports training program, will be the Official Charity Partner of ZOOMA Colorado in 2010.

Designed to inspire women to lead healthy lives with more perks and bigger parties, ZOOMA Colorado invites women to indulge in a healthy and energizing weekend. The race will be held on July 17, 2010 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, where special room rates for participants will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Participants will run a scenic course with mountain views around The Broadmoor resort and will celebrate at a post-race party including live music, shopping, massage, and light breakfast. Half marathon finishers will receive a commemorative silver necklace, and all participants receive a women’s-fit New Balance technical race tee.
ZOOMA Colorado participants will enjoy much more than a run. The day before the race, runners will collect race day packets at the ZOOMA Marketplace, where participants can also browse cutting-edge gear and apparel designed especially for women. After the race, the ZOOMA After-Party Expo is a combination of post-race celebration and “girls’ weekend” party. Food, wine tastings, mini massage, demos and shopping will pamper runners after the race, and live music, light breakfast and more will extend the post-race celebration beyond the finish line.
The ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon and 10K courses will start and finish at The Broadmoor, which is also the Official Hotel and Race Headquarters of ZOOMA Colorado.
