PHOENIX - (November 18, 2007) - Elite Racing, Inc. invites all American women who have the goal to qualify for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Women's Marathon to run the fifth annual P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon on Sunday, January 13, 2008.

As part of this special invitational program, accommodation will be provided for all athletes selected to participate. In addition, a cash bonus of $500 will be awarded to the selected athletes who run under the U.S. Olympic Trials "B" standard time of 2 hours, 47 minutes.

All interested athletes must submit a current running resume to Elite Racing by Friday, December 7, 2007 for consideration. Current running resumes, including complete contact information, age and personal best marathon time, must be emailed to lulrich@eliteracing.com. All selected athletes will be notified by Dec. 14.

Athletes from the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project, a nationally recognized running and training program, will provide pacing during the race for the selected group of Olympic Trials hopefuls.

"We are pleased to extend this invitation to our nation's top female marathoners," said Tracy Sundlun, Elite Racing's Executive Vice President. "The P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon course has the potential to be very fast, which we hope helps the athletes produce some outstanding performances."

The P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona features live bands positioned at each mile along both the 26.2 and 13.1-mile courses, creating a block party atmosphere for participants and spectators alike. More than 35,000 runners and walkers are expected to participate on the marathon and half-marathon courses. The event, the world's largest marathon and half-marathon same day combination, concludes with an evening concert at Tempe Beach Park featuring a headlining act.

A two-day Health & Fitness Expo kicks off race week at the Phoenix Convention Center On Fri., Jan. 11 and Sat., Jan. 12. All participants visit the expo to pick up their race numbers and browse over 100 vendors from the running and fitness industry.
