Chicago Events Open Registration

Chicago's two largest running races announced that registration would open on-line on Sunday.
The 29th LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon (22-Oct) and the 27th LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle 8-K (02-Apr) will begin taking applications 01-Jan through their respective websites:
www.chicagomarathon.com and www.shamrockshuffle.com.
Early registration for the marathon costs USD $90 for U.S. applicants and USD $100 for international athletes. The advertised registration cap is 40,000. For the Shuffle, registration costs $35 and the registration cap is 25,000. Both events start and finish in Grant Park.
