MELBOURNE, Fla. - (June 8, 2012) - The Beach Running World Championships returns to the wide and hard packed sands of Cocoa Beach, Florida on Sunday, October 21, 2012 and will once again feature 10K and ½ marathon races.
The event's inaugural running in 2011 saw more than 300 runners participating with many electing to run in the specialty Barefoot Division.
Open to all-comers, the Beach Running World Championships is unique in the beach racing scene in that it is set on a USATF-certified course and awards beautiful medals to finishers of both races.
