Violetta Kryza Disqualified From 2002 UPMC/City Of Pittsburgh MarathonPITTSBURGH (January 4) -- Violetta Kryza of Poland, the first woman to cross the finish line at the 2002 UPMC/City of Pittsburgh Marathon, has been disqualified from the race due to a positive drug test. Magdalena Lewy, 29, of Berkeley, Calif., the runner-up at the May 5 event, has been declared the female winner by race officials. Her finish time was 2:36:48.
