Londonderry, NH – Stonyfield, the world’s leading organic yogurt maker, in collaboration with LOCO Sports, will host the fourth annual Stonyfield Earth Day 5K & Fair on Saturday May 3rd. The event will take place from 10AM to 1PM at the Stonyfield Yogurt Works located at 10 Burton Drive in Londonderry, NH. This family-friendly road race and fair is open to the public so that everyone can join the fun!

What’s new for runners and fair-goers in 2014
After three hugely popular races including a sell-out crowd last year, runners and walkers should sign up as early as possible to take advantage of two new offers this year. All registered runners will receive a free 100% organic custom t-shirt courtesy of B Positive Project Apparel. The first 1,250 will also get a free ticket to a Manchester Fisher Cats baseball game.

Stonyfield is also thrilled to announce fun new additions to the fair:
[*]Local eateries like Mr. Macs and Portland Pie Company are joining past exhibitors like Applegate, Pete and Gerry’s Eggs and Pretzel Crisps to provide free, healthy food for attendees. See the full list here.
[*]Runners over the age of 21 will be able to quench their post-run thirst at the beer tent provided by Samuel Adams. IDs will be required. All of the proceeds will go directly to Easter Seals.  Live music will be provided by The Dusty Gray Band. Influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Otis Redding, Greg Allman, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Ray Lamontagne, Dusty intertwines theses heroes into his own unique Country music sound. The band will be playing throughout the duration of the fair.
[*]The “Bunny Hop” will return this year, with free ‘bunny tails’ to bring attention to the endangered New England Cottontail rabbit. This year all children registered for the race will also receive a free ticket to the NH Children’s Museum.
[*]Little ones will have a chance to meet Gurt the Stonyfield Cow, Slider from the NH Fishercat's, Max from the Manchester Monarchs, Geoffrey the Giraffe from Babies “R” Us and many more.
[*]Kids will also enjoy the exciting interactive exhibits from The Discovery Museum and See Science Center and Vertical Dreams with their rock climbing wall. There will be bouncy houses, Build Our World company with new Lego building stations for younger and older children and many more fun hands on exhibits!
[*]A dedicated runners’ tent will be on site, complete with three chiropractic practices, and massages for all by Seacoast Career School.
[*]Transportation from Grace Limousines with shuttles to and from the race to free nearby parking lots.
[*]Frank FM (106.3) will be broadcasting live all day on site.
[*]Many Eco-friendly companies will be featured under our “Green” tent involved with Green Alliance so people can learn more about their environment.
Race Proceeds to Benefit New England Cottontail Rabbit and Easter Seals

In 2008, Stonyfield became the first private land owner to create and maintain habitat for the state-endangered New England Cottontail rabbit. This year, in addition to maintaining habitat for the state’s largest population of endangered rabbits, Stonyfield will be donating a portion of race proceeds to New Hampshire's Nongame and Endangered Wildlife Program to help support species conservation efforts.

Easter Seals provides exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

Registration and Pricing
The race is being managed by LOCO Sports, a company from Newmarket (NH) that operates many of the premier running events throughout the state. Affordable youth pricing is also available for $20 a ticket. The 5k tickets are $30 and you can purchase them from March 1 – April 28 midnight. Race day registration may be available, pending space. Runners can head to for more information.
