Runners from 17 states, and counting, converging on Portsmouth
Boston Marathon tune-up race adds natural protein powered sponsor, Core Power, for Sunday, March 24th event

March 13, 2013 - Portsmouth, NH - The 18th Annual Eastern States 20 Mile and 14th Annual Run For The Border Half Marathon event have registered runners from every New England state, and from as far as Arizona, California and Alaska. Running concurrently at 11 AM on Sunday, March 24th, the Eastern States 20 Mile starts behind Portsmouth High School and the Run For The Border Half Marathon starts at Wallis Sands Beach. Both races speed along Route 1A and finish at the Massachusetts border in Salisbury.
“Our flat, fast course and awe inspiring New Hampshire seascape draw elite runners preparing for the Boston Marathon and bucket listers alike,” said event Founder and Race Director Don Allison. “Runners joining us from as far as Arkansas, California and Alaska reflects the competitive event we have produced for more than seventeen years now.”
