Posted Friday, 27 June, 2014
WHO: Pediatric Cancer Foundation, One Mission has a limited number of entries left on Team One Mission for the New Balance Falmouth Road Race. Run the prestigious Cape Cod course on August 17th and support One Mission in our fight against pediatric cancer. The money raised by Team One Mission will fund the vital programs and services that are brightening the road to recovery for children fighting cancer and their families.
WHAT: On August 17th the New Balance Falmouth Road Race celebrates its 42nd running and the spirit which made the first Falmouth so special is still present today. More than 12,000 runners will gather in Woods Hole for the 2014 race, including many of the world's elite, though the essence of the event remains a fun run. Back-of-the-pack joggers share the road with the best, forming a tapestry of colors from the start on Water Street to the finish at the beach in Falmouth Heights.
One Mission wants you to join our team and the reason is simple, help kids beat cancer. Receiving treatment for cancer can keep families in the hospital for weeks and months on end, a process that takes a toll on them physically, emotionally and financially. The money raised by Team One Mission will help children with cancer and their families receive the help they need at what is probably the most difficult time in their lives.
