4,897 - Entrants in 2007, an event record.

7 - Number of consecutive years that female entrants have outnumbered male entrants at the B.A.A. Half Marathon. This year 2,619 women registered to run compared to 2,278 men.

3,482 - Number of finishers in 2006, an event record.

18,282 - Cumulative number of finishers in event history, an average of 3,047 per year.

59 - Entrants who have completed all six previous editions of the B.A.A. Half Marathon. These include three champions from the inaugural 2001 race: Wayne Levy (men), Sarah Nixon (women), and Tim Kelly (men's push rim wheelchair).

30 - Number of consecutive Boston Marathons finished by Hal Goforth (El Cajon, CA), who has also completed all six B.A.A. Half Marathons.

3 - Number of different titles won at the B.A.A. Half Marathon by Wayne Levy of the B.A.A. Running Club (Open Men, Masters Men, Men's Open Team), an event record.

6 - Consecutive men's and women's Open Team titles won by the B.A.A. Running Club.

1:02:57 - Men's course record, an average of 4:48 per mile (Luke Metto, 2004).

7 - Number of past B.A.A. Half Marathon champions competing in 2007 (Men's champions: Wayne Levy, Celedonio Rodriguez, and Samuel Ndereba; Women's champion: Sarah Nixon; Men's Push Rim Wheelchair champions: Tim Kelly, Tony Nogueira, and Mark Ledo).

11 - Number of B.A.A. Half Marathon titles captured by those seven past champions.

4:35:51 - Combined marathon personal bests of defending B.A.A. Half Marathon champ Samuel Ndereba (2:17:04) and four-time Boston Marathon champ Catherine Ndereba (2:18:47), a brother/sister world record.

1,000 - Number of acres in the historic park system that is preserved and maintained by the Emerald Necklace Conservancy. Since the inception of the B.A.A. Half Marathon, a portion of the entry fees has been directed toward the Conservancy to help with this cause. The B.A.A. Half Marathon is run entirely around and within the Emerald Necklace in Boston and Brookline.

30,000 - Total prize purse, in dollars, to be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the open, masters, and push rim wheelchair divisions.

113,750 - Total money, in dollars, awarded since a prize purse was introduced at the 2003 B.A.A. Half Marathon.

195 - Days until the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials-Women's Marathon, to be held in Boston.

196 - Days until the 2008 Boston Marathon, the 112th running of the world's oldest annual marathon.
