LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Stanley Redwine, the track and field coach at Kansas, will lead the U.S. team at the 2007 Pan American Games.

Redwine was an assistant for the 2003 Pan Am team in the Dominican Republic, where he coached the men's endurance events.

In his seventh season at Kansas, he had an international career that included two silver medals at the Goodwill Games and two bronze medals at the Pan Am Games.

The Pan Am team consists of the top two finishers in each event at the U.S. Championships. The games are July 13-29 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
