Walker, Stuczynski lead Visa Championship Series standings

Brad Walker and Jenn Stuczynski hold the respective leads in USA Track & Field's Outdoor Visa Championship Series following Sunday's Nike Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon.
The reigning World Outdoor pole vault champion, Walker soared into the lead in the men's Visa Championship Series, after setting an American record of 6.04 meters/19 feet 9.75 inches at the Nike Prefontaine Classic. Walker's jump broke Jeff Hartwig's American record of 6.03m/19-9.25 set in 2000.
Stuczynski still holds the lead in the women's Visa Championship series from her American record jump of 4.90m/16-00.75 on May 18, at the adidas Track Classic.
Following the Nike Prefontaine Classic the men's top five standings changed significantly. Walker moved into first after his American record jump of 6.04m/19.9.75 in the pole vault. Adam Nelson moved into third after heaving the shot put 22.12m/72-7. Anwar Moore dashed into a tie for fifth with Jeremy Wariner, following his time of 13.09 seconds in the 110mH.
The women's top five standings remained relatively unchanged, with Torri Edwards running into a tie for fourth with Sanya Richards, after clocking 10.94 in the 100m.
