Running USA 2007 Features Inaugural Youth Running Workshop
How to start or enhance your youth fitness program

The Running USA 2007 Conference powered by the Active Network and Gen A Media & Marketing will feature the first Youth Running and Fitness Workshop. The workshop, to be held on Wed-Thurs, February 7-8 in conjunction with the Running USA Conference at the Hilton at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif., will be an excellent network and educational opportunity for race personnel, clubs, schools or stores interested in providing or enhancing youth running and fitness programs.
Workshop topics from an outstanding faculty will include budgets and planning, finding resources, identifying cost effective incentives and age appropriate, fun activities, program evaluation tools, recruiting and training of volunteers, creative nutrition education, overview of new web resources and organizing kids runs.
Featured speakers include:
* Dr. Charles Kuntzleman, youth fitness expert and creator of Fitness Finders and the original 'Mileage Club'
* Holly Fedorcik, Nutritionist / Urban Fuel
* Mike Pippi, Executive Director HELP, Healthy Eating Lifestyle Principles
