INDIANAPOLIS - Senior Josh Rohatinsky of Brigham Young University has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week after winning the men's individual NCAA Division I Cross Country title Monday in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Rohatinsky earned his third All-America distinction with his convincing victory in the men' 10 km race in 30:44.9, finishing well ahead of Neftalem Araia of Stanford, who was the runner-up in 30:52.6. Rohatinski's performance led BYU to an 11th place finish in the men's team competition.

Now in its sixth year, USATF's Athlete of the Week program is designed to recognize outstanding performers at all levels of the sport. USATF names a new honoree each week and features the athlete on the USATF website. Selections are based on top performances and results from the previous week.
