INDIANAPOLIS - Nadine O'Connor (Del Mar, Calif.) has been named USA Track & Field's Athlete of the Week after setting three world masters age group records at the 2007 USA Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Mass.

The 2005 Masters Female Athlete of the Year, O'Connor won the W65 pole vault with a clearance of 2.89 meters/9 feet 5.75 inches on Friday. She then went on to break her second listed world record on Saturday, leaping 4.16m/13-6.75 in the W65 long jump. On Sunday, her time of 30.63 seconds also was a world record.

Now in its sixth year, USATF's Athlete of the Week program is designed to recognize outstanding performers at all levels of the sport. USATF names a new honoree each week and features the athlete on the USATF website. Selections are based on top performances and results from the previous week.
