INDIANAPOLIS - The Executive Track Club won the combined men's and women's team title convincingly over the weekend at the 2006 USA Track & Field National Club Championships, held at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, Calif.

The event is part of USATF's Club Championship Series, designed to help develop future elite athletes and promote the club/team aspect of track & field. Only athletes registered with a USATF club are eligible to compete. Athletes' club affiliations must be part of their USATF membership profile.

Executive Track Club dominated the combined team competition by eclipsing last year's champions, Greater Boston Track Club by almost 100 points, winning with 317 points to 217.50 points respectively. Norfolk Real Deal was third with 177.50 points.

Eleven meet records were set over the two day weekend event, highlighted by Carlos Moore (Cheetahs Int.), fresh off his NACAC silver medal, breaking the men's 100 meter meet record with his winning time of 10.20 seconds. Adrian Findlay (Executive Track Club) ran away from the field in the men's 400 meter hurdles finishing in a meet record 49.67, almost two seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

(Pole Vault - 5.40m/17-8.50); Carlos Garcia-Samuels, Clement Campbell, Kwesi Sarabo, and Philippe DeRosier of Executive Track Club (4x100m - 39.79) and Anwar Moore, Lee Prowell, Kevin Logan, and Travon Lee of Executive Track Club (Sprint Medley Relay - 1:30.29).
