It is the seventh annual running Sunday, November 3, 2013, an event that has gotten better and better each year. This is the first year to feature this highly regarded race as the USATF-New England Championship!

All good things come to an end, including great, iconic races. And this will be the end of the Applefest Half Marathon after a great run of 31 years. Applefest has been a very Special Race—this year it is October 5, 2013, the first Saturday in October. The Applefest Half Marathon has been a New England tradition since 1983, and it is very sad to see it end. Register now for this beautiful and challenging course with excellent awards, great amenities, delicious post race food, and outstanding organization. This is it!

This half marathon is one of those “must do” fall races in New England. It is a classic at a beautiful location - Applecrest Farm located in the town of Hampton Falls, New Hampshire. Orchards are bountiful with apples, pumpkins, raspberries, and peaches. Applecrest Farms is also famous for their home-made apple pie and home-made ice cream and cider, all of which you will receive as a treat after your half marathon run.
