This is Fall River’s only half marathon, coming Sunday, October 20, 2013. It starts and ends at Beacon Light Tavern near famous Battleship Cove, and it includes a 5K and loads of fun. The Road Runners Club of America has designated this event their Massachusetts Half Marathon Championship. It is a moderately challenging but enjoyable course, whether it’s your first or 101st.

Boston is the Next Stop for the National Allstate Life InsuranceSM 13.1 Marathon® and Legends Bill Rodgers and Frank Shorter Will Run
It will be Bill Rodgers and Frank Shorter head to head for the One Fund Boston. For many runners Boston is their destination city with thousands of dedicated participants and fans. The 13.1 Marathon® Series includes eight events in some of America’s greatest cities, and this is number 5 on the list and it includes a 5K; both courses start and end at Suffolk Downs and run along Revere Beach on September 15, 2013.

The 35th Annual Bridge of Flowers 10K and 3K—History and Tradition Beautiful Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts
This classic race is built on tradition, competition, and the calming beauty of this Berkshire Highland village and region. A spectator-friendly, figure-eight layout provides a beautiful and challenging course in historic Shelburne Falls, a wee village on the Deerfield River in western Massachusetts.
