It is a running tradition in the Merrimack River Valley like no other; it is the only club relay in the USA where all participants belong to a member club, and the one of the oldest relays in the country. This year it will run for the 30th time on December 8, 2013: Five legs along a 27-mile course--250 teams, 20 clubs, seven towns, two states, one river!

Enjoy a terrific half marathon coming Sunday, November 24, 2013. This is the second annual event, Nashua’s only half marathon in many years. It runs mostly in beautiful Mine Falls Park, and includes a 5K and loads of fun. The half marathon distance is becoming very popular—here is a wonderful trail course that is easy to negotiate whether it’s your first or 101st—two person half marathon relay too!

The Second Annual Ashland Half Marathon and 5K, Running at the Original, Historic Boston Marathon Start
The Ashland Half-Marathon and 5K will run for the second time on Sunday, October 27 at 10:30 a.m., at Marathon Park in Ashland, Massachusetts. Set at the original Boston Marathon starting line and running in late October to take advantage of the cool temperatures, the half marathon winds its way along a picturesque 13.1-mile figure-8 course through Ashland's foliage-lined roads and lanes and will include a team option this year. The 5K racers will cross the starting line at the same time as the half marathoners. Both races finish at Marathon Park.
