Through Dana-Farber’s running programs, you run any race you choose—from 5K to ultra-marathon, relay, trail, mountain, triathlon, duathlon, or other event—and dedicate the effort to supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Yes, the next race you run, in any location around the world, could help find cancer cures.
You set your own goals by choosing your racing event and establishing your own fundraising targets, with Dana-Farber providing support every step of the way.

Choose your Own Race and Pace
Registering is easy. Once you’ve chosen your event and secured your race entry through the race’s official registration process, visit RunDanaFarber.org and sign up to raise funds for Dana-Farber. All participants receive a personalized fundraising web page, fundraising incentives, and online tools that help you spread the word to everyone. It really is easy with the support provided! You can also establish a fundraising group and run with your friends toward the ultimate finish line: a world without cancer.
The Teams
Dana-Farber also fields official teams in the Boston Marathon®, the B.A.A. Half Marathon®, and the New Balance Falmouth Road Race. During the application and registration periods, runners can join these teams using one of Dana-Farber’s race entries or their own.
As a member of one of Dana-Farber’s official teams, you are treated with the respect you deserve, including recognition—on race day and online. And there are perks: Training plans provided by Jack Fultz, the 1976 Boston Marathon Men’s Champion, fundraising tools and supplies, a race singlet, and more!
