The 10K event is a 6.2-mile course covering the most scenic, tree-lined roads that Foxborough, Mass. has to offer. You'll find this to be the easiest and flattest 10K course around with only one medium hill to contend with. After your hard effort on the course, you will experience an exciting and most memorable finish with cheering fans.
It is the ideal way to celebrate the holiday. Run the Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 - 5K & 10K at Patriot Place. This year the race begins at 6:00 pm. on Tuesday July 3rd. Fireworks have been added to the post- race celebrations with terrific food, music and fun at Patriot Place.

Just imagine finishing on the 50- yard line in Gillette Stadium! Runners will see themselves on the stadium's two enormous HD Video screens as they finish this third annual Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 by running into the stadium tunnel, through the giant inflatable helmet and right onto the field. Your entrance and triumphant "Finish at the 50" will be exciting and memorable as you sprint toward the 50-yard line past the dazzling New England Patriots and Revolution Cheerleaders. Let’s register and celebrate! www.harvardpilgrimfinishatthe50.com Lets’ make it special!
Make it a Reunion, a True Patriotic Holiday with Patriots Colors
Recruit that family team and make it a reunion from around New England or from around the country. There is no limit to the number of “Family Team” members you can sign up. This year they are offering youth discounts for those 17 and under participating in either race.
Running with Bill
Boston Billy Rodgers will join in the fun. Maybe you can run with him or enter the stadium with him. He will be on hand at the race Expo to sign autographs and discuss running. Bill has a great way of making each runner feel like they are an elite star, and has an ability to easily relate to all people and all levels of runners. Bill will also be running with the field, one of thousands of participants in this unique happening.
Team Hoyt is scheduled to participate in the run. Perhaps you can run with the Hoyts, the very popular team that has completed dozens of marathons, the Iron Man Triathlon, and so many road races it is simply incredible. They are a true inspiration to all.
You will find a wealth of information at the Race Website. Everything you need to know is on the race website. www.harvardpilgrimfinishatthe50.com
The races will have a 6:00 p.m. start and include start and finish line mats and an accurate net time for all using the Chronotrack B-tag. The B-Tag provides speedy results and you don’t have to worry about returning the chip. There is plenty of free parking, so this one is easy to get to.
The start is adjacent to Gillette Stadium. Runners will depart Patriot Place via a private exit onto Foxborough’s quiet, flat country roads. It borders the historic Neponset Reservoir and rolls into the center of Foxborough before looping back toward Patriot Place. Runners will retrace mile one back to Gillette Stadium for that unbelievably exciting finish.
The course is certified, mostly flat, scenic and mostly tree-lined, much of it appearing undisturbed since the American Revolution. This is the true Foxborough not often visible from Route One. The quiet, historic course contrasts powerfully with the convenience and modern amenities of Patriot Place. You have the best of both worlds.
The 5K loops from the parking area through Patriot Place and along the stadium, actually entering the stadium to climb the ramp to the upper levels. Runners and walkers will circle the stadium inside and exit at the ramp under the lighthouse, then circle to come in the tunnel.
The finish line, at the 50- yard line in Gillette Stadium, is unique in road racing. Runners and walkers will finish their 5K and 10K run by heading through the tunnel and onto the turf of Gillette Stadium, turning down the field to the finish in the center of the field. Friends and family can sit comfortably in the stands as they watch their loved ones cross the line.
The Harvard Pilgrim Finish at the 50 - 5K & 10K, this year on July 3rd, is fast becoming a huge classic and a regional tradition. It is one of the most exciting and anticipated road races in New England in years. The limit is 6,000 in both races combined, and it will likely sell out.
