Finishing on the 50-yard line inside Gillette Stadium, the Harvard Pilgrim 10K on July 4th will be a huge classic right out of the gate. It is one of the most exciting and anticipated road races in New England in years.
This is now a two-day event in Foxboro, Massachusetts, adding a Kids’ Run on Saturday, July 3 with a really cool opportunity for kids to start and finish their exciting run inside Gillette Stadium! Then on Sunday, July 4 runners and walkers will participate in the inaugural Harvard Pilgrim 10K. Let’s celebrate!

Bill has a great way of making each runner feel like she is an elite star, and has an ability to easily relate to all people and all levels of runners. On the Fourth of July runners will enjoy beautiful Foxborough, Massachusetts and the wonderful amenities at Patriot Place, New England’s most exciting shopping, and dining and entertainment destination.
Runners and walkers will finish their 10K run by heading through the tunnel and onto the turf of Gillette Stadium, turning down the field to the finish at the 50-yard line. The Harvard Pilgrim 10K at Patriot Place is a must-run race. The course is outstanding: fast, flat, scenic, quiet and traffic free. The finish line, in Gillette Stadium, is unique in road racing. The course is terrific, featuring tree-lined roads and quiet neighborhoods. It runs a clockwise loop through the center of Foxborough, past the town green and Memorial Hall.
The Kids’ Runs on Saturday will include a 1K fun run around the stadium and a Toddlers’ dash. And Patriot Place will be available both days to participants and spectators. Patriot Place is ideal for a celebration of America’s birthday and running as a main stream sport.
The race will have a 9:00 a.m. start and a walking division with start and finish line mats and an accurate net time for all using the Chronotrack D-tag. The D-Tag provides speedy results and you don’t have to worry about returning the chip.
This course is terrific, featuring tree-lined roads and quiet neighborhoods. It runs a clockwise loop through the center of Foxborough, past the town green and Memorial Hall.
The start is adjacent to Gillette Stadium. Runners will depart Patriot Place via a private exit onto Foxborough’s quiet, flat country roads. It borders the historic Neponset Reservoir and rolls into the center of Foxborough before looping back toward Patriot Place. Runners will retrace mile one back to Gillette Stadium for an unbelievably exciting finish.
The course, appearing undisturbed since the American Revolution, contrasts powerfully with the convenience and modern amenities of Patriot Place.
