The Lawrence Sons of Italy Road Races will be running at the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, a terrific venue. They offer a choice of the 5K or 5 Mile races, as well as the 5K Health Walk, and all finish on the excellent track inside the stadium. Everyone can participate, including the kids with a 1K fun run on the track. It will be a celebration of the sport; Lawrence has a great reputation for welcoming runners. And it will also be a celebration of the USA, honoring those who have served or are serving in our armed forces.
