Mine Falls - Fall Trail Series - Race #2

Race Story:

Compared with our Summer counterpart, the temps for the Final Fall race were a bit

on the chilly side. But, the shining sun made for perfect "fall-like" running conditions.

Steve Wolfe again won the 5k in 18:45, 45 seconds in front of Ken Snow. In the women's

5k Kelly Aschbrenner was also about 45 seconds ahead of second place female Lisa Rogers.

In the 5m, Sam McGrath beat all to win in 31:16 - 2 minutes ahead of Andrew Dahl

And in the womens 5m, Karen Clark sped on to victory in 39:57 - a mere 3 minutes

in front of second place finisher Jaime Peterson.

Don’t forget, our "Freeze Your Buns 5k" series starts 0n Jan. 8th 2012 at Conway Arena.
