Pretty much a recovery run for a bunch of us that ran the world famous "Stu's 30K" Road Race Sunday. 18.6 miles of up hill, down hill, repeat, repeat, etc....

Named for our buddy Stu Thurston, this 31st edition was held under sunny skies accompanied by 50 degree temps. Ideal weather for abusing ones body.  I don't know a ton about old Stu. I've only known him for a few years. But I do know that I have never heard a bad word muttered about the guy and doubt I ever will. A first class gentleman, a legendary local runner, and all around good guy. If you see him on the roads say hi.

The picture above is Stu at the Norton Centennial Marathon held October 6 1985. Stu ran a 2:57:16 pushing CMS to the men's masters team victory.
