| Race #2 of the 2009 Mine Falls Summer Trail Series was a bit of a soggy one. Rain that had fallen | |||||||||
| earlier in the day made for some muddy trail conditions but that didn't deter the 63 finishers who | |||||||||
| participated. Fortunately, this weeks raffle was a new pair of high tech running socks. So, there | |||||||||
| were at least 10 dry feet leaving the race for th drive home! | |||||||||
| The 5k winner for the men was Grant Langevin who finished in 17:09 and just 1 second ahead of | |||||||||
| second place finisher Andy King. The female 5k winner was Lyra Clark who finished in 19:12 | |||||||||
| ahead of last week's winner Diane Quinlan. In the 5m Mark Wimmer returned to take the win over | |||||||||
| second place finisher Dan Ferierra who was 30 seconds back. And, on the womens 5m side | |||||||||
| Julie Moran finished in 38:30. 6 minutes ahead of second place finsher Maureen Holland | |||||||||
| And, one hour ahead of her friend Jennifer Fuller, who got lost - somehow. | |||||||||
