Mister Bean was a
pure-bred Greyhound, who spent the first few years of his life as a professional
athlete racing in the West Virginia area, before he retired and was transferred
to an adoption agency in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Greyhound Friends,
Inc. He was adopted by Paul and Cyndy Curley of Sterling, Mass and
was their companion for seven years. Mister Bean was a major influence on
the Curleys life, so much so, that they started and named their own small
business, The Grey Hound Pub, partly in his memory.
