Cool Running

When last we left Brain, "Mr. McCarthy" as the kiddies at Mountview Middle School call him, he had just finished our Monday Night run battered, bruised, and bloodied, after taking a nasty spill in the construction area in front of Union Station. The result, aside from the injuries, was a change in the course route and a renaming of the route now known as "The Brian McCarthy Memorial Run". Monsieur McCarthy is back and he has healed well and was prepared to do battle tonight. Going head to head with Mark Johnson and Dave Krom it was the 40 plus division schooling us youngsters. Brian whupped Dave and Mark and there is a rumor that those two held hands and skipped across the finish line...not sure if it's true or not but their finishing times raise a bit of suspicion. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Don't forget the Shamrock Shuffle Three Mile Fun Run to be held in place of our regular run, Monday March 17th at the Fiddlers Green in Worcester. This is a one night only change and we will be back to our regularly scheduled run the following Monday and also back to our 3.55 mile route with the return of daylight to Worcester evenings.
