COLLINSVILLE BAKE OFF 5.53-MILE RACE, March 9, 2008, Collinsville, CT
This was a Hartford Track Club (www.hartfordtrackclub.org) Winter Series event, an informal race.
Kelly Burns was the race director, with help from David Reik and Peter Hawley.
Tom Buckley, race founder and director for the four previous runnings of the race, is in Thailand
bringing medical help to refugees from Burma.
This was the second consecutive year that a bike trail was free from ice which enabled the runners to do a
5.53-mile loop instead of an approximately 5.6-mile loop.
