Cool Running

Nice unseasonably warm evening for a run. Good crowd on hand once again now running under the cover of darkness. The daylight may be shorter in duration but our route is the same. Who among us doesn't like to run up a hill that tilts at a 45 degree angle? If nothing else it'll make you gasp for air, drop a few F bombs, and in the plus column give you a good workout.

There are those that prefer the peaceful trails and there are those that prefer the excitement of running through traffic. We now offer both. Well kinda. With a dozen plus trees just planted along the sidewalk on Green Street just outside of Kelley Sq, you almost get the sense of running through some far off wooded trail. If that isn't enough to get you excited, there is a swanky new boutique opening soon in the shadow of those trees. What will be for sale there I don't know but the name of the establishment is "Tush: A Denim Boutique"....make your best guess.

For those with more historical leanings our run passes by the newly dedicated Korean War Memorial just outside of Washington Sq. Take a look as you pass by and remember who it was that gave us the right to run down the street at will.

Skip the Macy's Parade and spend you're thanksgiving morning with us at the First Annual "Worcester's Redneck Deepfried Turkey 5km or abouts". Road race, deep fried turkey, Mimosa's, what more could you want.
