Movie Night in Worcester....  After tonight's race a bootleg showing of the famous "Big Man Run" DVD provided much entertainment.  The gang was wowed by the idea of beer and hotdogs consumed by large men while road racing, which of course leads to beer and hotdogs regurgitated by large men  after  road racing. Why this film did not win an Oscar just can not be explained!
 
As for the race....Looked like we had a challenger for Mike Weinberg tonight with Matt McKenna coming in with his dad Jim from Hudson.  Matt tailed Mike For a while until it was time to climb "Mt Harrison". Training in the flatlands of the Midwest is not ideal for racing in the hills of Central Mass as Matt soon found out. Mike pulled away on the hill and as is, has been, and probably will always be the case, took the victory.
 
 
Dave Krom said finish line be dammed, I'll run as far as I want and ain't nobody gonna stop me. And he did, going for an extra trip up the hill in windy and snowy conditions not exactly ideal for running.
 
We run every Monday evening at 6:30 and all are welcome! PT
