Club"The Big Fella" along with his two chief lieutenants Jim
DuPont & Jack Connolly were off into the hinterlands of Davis
Square-Somerville, MA tonight with Lt. Governor hopeful "Worcester Mayor"
Tim Murray and Congressman Jim McGovern stumping for some last minute Lt.
Governor nominee votes and a few bucks for the campaign warchest... so 3rd
Lieutenant and Somerville native now living in Holden????? Scott Stevens took
over tonight...left with no food, no ice for the beer,water &
gatorade..he had to improvise!!! It looks like he did a great job tonight-with
another stellar turnout for Worcester standards:>)..Somerville guys like
"SS" as he is called around the electrical supply
warehouses in Roxbury and Provincetown, Massachusetts are good at
improvising..especially if you have to convince a gal from Holden to marry you
10+ years ago...back then if you told a lass that you were from
Somerville...well the return comment and snub wasn't always so nice...nowadays
if you tell em' this..they are on the cell phone to Mom & Dad telling them
about the good news in meeting a lad from the "Ville".
Get out and
VOTE on Tuesday and in the future....to all you knuckleheads who think
politics and sport aren't intertwined..well you never applied for a permit to
close down roads for hours on end so that you can put one foot in front of the
other while the horns are honking behind you
AND, since I am
plugging politics tonight...don't forget next Monday's
City of Worcester
"Mayor's Run & Walk"...it's free-there is a BBQ, music &
refreshments and you get to meet

Boston Marathon winner Bill Rodgers who will also be
in-house hangin' at Paulie's House Run...Mayor Murray get's it when it comes to
supporting urban Worcester events...and urban issues period--a vibrant healthy
urban Worcester is good for Massachusetts!!
