Yes road racing does exist in Worcester Urban..and you don't
have to look very hard to find it ..it's easier than finding a book at the
Tatnuck Book Store, seeing a college student roaming the neighborhood around
Clark University or hearing a BB King riff at the Union Station Blues
Club.....it's that easy folks!!!
Some great racing tonight with our two
15Km champeens winning their very first races ever...and I mean it!! Ron T
pushed the pace the 1st loop and then Francis Real charged past him on the 2nd
loop and led the rest of the way..Tracy Flynn of places north of Lake
Q..kicked thru the entire 3 laps all by her lonesome never giving up the
lead..taking home 1st place and a new Fuel Belt for her exerted
energy!!
The Post Race camraderie was again kick-a$$ and it included
burgers, bratwurst, steak, lots of cold beer and Stonyfield Frosties:>) The
RD digs Stonyfield Frosties on Monday nights almost as much as he does Harpoon
beer on Thursday nights.
