The "Runners of Worcester" put the "Dubya" back into "Worcester Urban Running" tonight...pretty much dominating the top spots on both sides of the XYchromosome scale this evening...the wee lad from Webster snuck in #1 tonight but I hear a big name Worcester stud may be showing up next week....and Jason could be in for the fight of his life if he returns to defend????

 

Anyway, a wonderful evening was had by all....we had a great start to our Kid's X-Country meet that will be taking place every Monday for the rest of the summer,we just need some local support, the adults race was hottttt but it went down...many new and old friends shared in lobster, steamers, salmon with "The Big Fella's" special seasoning and Hot DOGS for the kid's and Buddy the Beagle got endless attention....the only thing was missing was our local City Councilor popping in to say hello to some of her constituents and our favorite City Clerk and Runner--David Rushford:>)

 

Lastly, be on the look out for perhaps one of the greatest LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS of all time poppin' into Central Massachusetts territory soon...the 2nd annual Worcester "Mayor's Run" is happening on August 15th..and we have one of the best Mayor's -...Massachusetts has to offer in Worcester Mayor Tim Murray joining us.....so why not bring in perhaps the best LONG DISTANCE RUNNER of all time to...former WORLD MARATHON RECORD HOLDER Belayneh Dinsamo of Addissaba, Ethiopia and now Boston, Massachusetts into the mix as one of our additional SPECIAL GUESTS...let's see if Jason Croteau or that Super Duper Worcester Stud who may show up next week beat him:>)
