We were forced back onto the roads by the Watuppa Pond Board of Trustees, but the races went on --- with a 5K and a 3K --- same as last year. Joshua Berube of the host Moose Milers & Marathoners topped the 5K field with a run of 18:23, the 2nd fastest ever time on the course. Patrick Rathbun of Apponequet High School won the 3K in 11:54 - a new course record. The Watuppa Pond 5K / 3K Race Series continues the first Thursday night of each month through September 2 starting at the corner of Riggenbach Road and Wilson Road in Fall River, Massachusetts at 6:30 PM.
