We matched the biggest crowd of the year, despite the official results below. Two hearty runners showed up early and after getting drenched by 3 inches of rain between 4:45 and 5:30 while doing a long warm up, decided to pass on the race. Seven more runners showed up after the race had already started. One chipped in by running to the mile mark to give splits and then racing back to the finish to time the race. The last lonely soul took an extended tour of Mine Falls Park and we are respectfully not publicizing her time. BJ Bottomley of the host Moose Milers & Marathoners plowed through the mud and muck to break the existing course record by exactly a minute. BJ's 16:38 over the very difficult terrain was easily the most impressive performance of the series. The Moose Milers Trail Run Series continues every Thursday night through September 11 starting from Stellos Stadium in Nashua at 6:30 PM.
