John David edged out his mother with a 23:53 while Demetra came in with a 24:00. Afterwards both runners assisted in the post race ceremonies. Thanks to a great turn out. It was our largest in the 6 years we have been doing them. As mentioned earlier, conditions were ideal especially when looking back at the humidity, rainstorms and flooding on parts of the trail, which we experienced in earlier races. Finally, a special thanks to the club members who participated in the run and our helpers: John Parker, Ray Lussier, Larry Olsen, Don Bell, and honorary TVFRers, Doug and Linda Usher our faithful water-giver-outers at the re entry into the woods point.
