It was a beautiful day for a trail run in Schenley Park.  The race was well organized and had prizes for everyone.  Ann and Sam even had race numbers for all of the runners from their prior races.  They capped off a beautiful day of running with a medal for every finisher, and each finisher had their choice of mugs.  The ages of runners ranged from 7 years old to 77 years old.   The weather fully cooperated, and the course was challenging.  The first mile was downhill, which meant that the last mile was uphill since it was an out and back course.  The woods were beautiful, and the chipmunks were out in full force along the trail.  Birds were everywhere and serenaded the runners during their journey.    All of the race participants sang "Happy Birtday" to Sammy before the start of the race.  We hope Sammy had a very enjoyable 44th Birthday, as we all enjoyed his party.
