CVR Mutt Strut 3M

Once again the weather was beautiful for the Mutt Strutt, with sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. And for the first time since the first Mutt Strutt in 1997, the dogs had snow to cool off in. In fact there was so much snow on the ground that we had to alter the course -- the campground was still under a foot of snow.

Tim Noonan and Gus, the only human - canine team to compete in all 5 Mutt Strutts, took first place overall in 19:42. Tim and Gus won the very first Mutt Strutt, and have placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the others. Bill Lorenz and Koda have competed 4 times as have Libby Hale and Olive. John Halpin and Kim Kendall have participated in 4 Mutt Strutts but not always with the same dog. Sandy and Clay have competed in all 5, but not always with the same human.
