Brian Donaghue sped away from his elders with a 4:58 first mile then put it in cruise control for an easy victory on a hot afternoon. Steady John Bigos closed to within striking distance for second place while Tom O'Conner held off Art Roberts for third.
Kelly Heroux easily handled the women's field with a 34:08 clocking good for sixth place overall. Masters Cindy Roy and Debra Hevey stayed close up and down the Forest Park hills before Ms. Roy pulled away for second with Ms. Hevey third.
