There is only one thing tougher than owning real estate in Lawrence, 
Massachusetts and that's beating Alex Filides of the Greater Boston Track 
Club and a bud of Papa Clyde on a Thursday Night in Somerville, 
Massachusetts..and Peter "the Golden Greek" Eliopolous of Lowell, MA. has 
done both...a for life subscription to the Hockamock Swamp Rat and a life 
time supply of mousaka is due him:>) I'll supply the mousaka!!


The wave continues over at the VFW Logan Post...many regulars jumping ship 
early to pick-up last minute items on sale for the holidays but the slack was 
picked up by an unexpected visit from the crew on the other side of the 
tracks..Papa Clyde only gives a pardon to "his" crew for sneaking out on the 
gratious sponsor early before supporting it for family, holiday matters, 
death and a meeting with the I.R.S....a triple double oy vey on this one!!


A special presentation was made tonight...heaps of praise has been bestowed 
on our police and fire departments lately and little has been made of our 
guys and gals overseas...so tonight New England Clydesdale & Filly Racing 
Federation presented one of it's Boston Marathon running club waivers for the 
2002 Boston Marathon to member "Big" Bob Barnes of Arlington, 
Massachusetts...Bob was a Marine in the 106th U.S.A. Marine Corp. Anti-Tank 
division a few moons ago and in 2002 he will be racing in the 2002 106th 
Boston Marathon...representing the U.S.A. guys and girls oversees...the 
training begins:>)


Yup, we had a race tonight folks...and we got a big one next week..Somerville 
Fire Fighters 5.1Km.....HAPPY HOLIDAYS
