There was the "Thriller in Manilla, and then there was the "Ramble on the River"..both ended in knockout fashion...It's all over for 2001 with a Team Relay showing the true spirit of our weekly races on the Charles River...great turnout for the finale...in both the Relay and the 2.6 Miler...the crowds hung around to the wee hours of the witching hour...supporting the VFW Marsh Post like it has supported us all spring & summer..once home to the famous Cambridge 11 Miler that brought in the best of the best..in the New England Running Community..it has come full circle and it is now home to all runners..see ya in 2002:>)
