The eventual winner on this warm, beautiful day was Tegla Laroupe in 31:48.

Last year's Avon Mini Marathon winner, Kim Griffin(NY), beat her '98 Avon Mini-Marathon time and was 3rd American behind Libbie Hickman (CO, 10th) and Ann Marie Lauck (NJ, 12th)
