 Cincinnati's homegrown '84 Olympic Marathoner, Julie Isphording,
expressed her nostalgia for Avon's return to Cincinnati after 20 years.
Julie's win in the local event back then launched her career as a
world-class runner

 Local WCPO-TV anchor Carol Williams greeted and encouraged the 5K
fitness walkers at the start of their event.

 Over 700 walkers take off for their morning jaunt.

 Winner 23 year old Stephanie Dueringer, 3x All-American at the University of
Indianapolis, breaks the tape in 36:16 and wins her trip to the Avon
Running National 10K Championship in Chicago November 8th.
